Pinball Hall of Fame

My responsibilities on Pinball Hall of Fame – The Williams Collection was one of the strangest in my long history in video game development.  While being the only staff member of FarSight Studios who had actually worked in an arcade and maintained real-world pinball machines, it was my responsibility to help track down machines to purchase, set them up and maintain all of them in proper working condition.

Pinball Tables Worked On:

  • Tales of Arabian Nights.
  • Black Hole.
  • Pin*Bot.
  • The Machine: Bride of Pin*Bot.
  • Black Hole.
  • Medieval Madness.
  • Fun House.
  • Gorgar.
  • Taxi.
  • Firepower.
  • Space Shuttle.
  • Whirlwind.
  • Teed Off.
  • Black Knight.

I was also responsible for reverse engineering each of the tables for the game, this meant stripping each table-top all the way down to its base, documenting all parts for duplication in 3D and helping the art department photograph every element of each of the games.  I also had to reassemble each of the pinball machine back to their original state so they could be resold when we were done with the production.

Here is the 3D Model I created for the games arcade:
