Game Projects at Awaken Games
(Sometime I have ideas for some of my own games that I want to take beyond just the design)
Melting Point is a puzzle game I started to play around with some time back, where you play as a Fire Sprite and have to make your way through a number of puzzle levels, avoiding natural hazards and using Fireworks to solve puzzles.
When Flappy Bird came out I wanted to take that game concept and add more complexity to it, so I came up with Daffy Fish. In this game you play a Flying Fish with some of the same challenge found in the original concept, but now you have to return to the water to survive.
Extreme Lander is my take on doing a Lunar Lander arcade game with a bit of Caverns of Mars, two of my favorite games from my childhood. The goal is to navigate a hostile alien world to rescue stranded space miners.
Hillbilly Ruckus is a game I started some time back as a simple target shooting game where you blast items tossed in the air. Its development has been put on hold for a bit, for it requires more funding for art development.
Yeti Rampage is one of my most ambitious game projects to date. In high school I came across a TSR-80 game called Attack of the Yeti, a text adventure game that you had to type in from a magazine. It was simple, but an addictive game to play and in Yeti Rampage I wanted to take this concept to the next level.
